My Girls are Home!!!!
What a wonderful Valentine’s present. My husband and girls arrived home. We had a great group of folks at the airport for their arrival. Ariana, Ian’s fiance had made a big “Welcome Home” sign. It was beautiful. Thanks to everyone who came out and helped us greet them. They were worn out and tired from the flight but they still managed a smile. Sunday morning we were even able to go to church for one service. Everyone wanted to see the girls they had prayed for for so long. My mom and dad had a great dinner for us in the evening. We had a wonderful day.
We had lots of Beanie babies left over from my boys when they were little. The girls found them and placed them all over the house. They are trying to decorate. It is so cute. Their rooms are immaculate and everything is in its place. I wonder how long that will last!!!
Someone even made my bed before I could get to it.
Last night I helped Miranda in the bath. We have a large tub in our bathroom. We filled it up with water and lots of bubbles. I washed and conditioned her hair. As I was pouring the water over her hair and she was closing her eyes enjoying the warmth I wondered if anyone had ever really done this for her. Just pampering her and loving her, just spending time alone with her. We blow dried her hair and washed her face really good. I had so much fun. I think I am going to like this. My dream come true. Some girls to love!!!!!

PRAISE GOD!! I am so excited to meet them in person. What a wonderful family they have become a part of! Will continue to pray for a smooth transition for everyone!
I am so excited for you and your family Melissa! I bet little Miranda just ate up all the attention. Enjoy them!
that’s so AWESOME!!!
Aww.. sister.. that made me tear up.
I am soo sooo soo happy for you.
Can’t wait to meet them!!!
You are the sweetest mom!! I just love hearing about you helping Miranda in her bath–what a great way to break down that language barrier by just offering her some TLC only a mom could give. I am sure she just felt the love of Christ coming right through you
